Large-area protection and free-standing functionality
The side awning is designed to be used freestanding, offering maximum flexibility and comfort outdoors. With two support poles included in the scope of delivery, the awning offers stable support and protection even in heavy rainfall. So you are perfectly prepared for your next outdoor adventure, whether on the beach, in the forest or in the mountains.
Lightweight & robust
Despite its low weight of 18.95 kg, the 270° Horizon awning is characterized by a robust frame that can withstand the elements. The balance between lightness and stability makes it the ideal accessory for your vehicle.
Dimmable lighting
The dimmable LED lights integrated into the arms of the awning are a special highlight and provide pleasant lighting in the evening hours.The LED lights are operated using a power bank (not included), which can be conveniently stored in the side pocket provided. You can easily operate the LED with a standard power bank – provided it supplies 5 volts / 3 amps and has an output power between 15 and 22.5 watts.
Practical accessories available
The new 270° Horizon awning can be supplemented with practical accessories: the awning can be fitted with side walls, which are supplied with additional support poles, to create generous space or even more protection from bad weather conditions. Also available is the new organizer, which offers practical storage space for smaller items and keeps your outdoor equipment handy and organized.
Mounting on the roof rack
The side awning is compatible with the ExRoof roof rack, but also with roof racks from other suppliers. An awning bracket is included in the scope of delivery (as shown on the picture above). The screws can be moved horizontally as required and adjusted to fit your roof rack perfectly. You can find a sketch of the universal awning bracket supplied here. Installation on roof racks with a T-slot, which are mounted on the roof rails, is also possible. However, the T-bolts for this type of roof rack are not included in the scope of delivery. If you want to mount the awning on a horntools ExRoof roof rack, we also have an ExRoof awning bracket in our range, which can be used to screw the awning to the side as well as from above.

Habe die tolle Markise an meinem Grenadier montiert. Montage absolut durchdacht und problemlos machbar (habe Rhino Roof Bars). Markise hält, was sie verspricht. Ist aktuell in der Toskana auf Tour und spendet uns Schatten und Schutz. Die LED Beleuchtung ist durchdacht und nachts optimal (gemütlich).
Klare Kaufempfehlung. Mit einem Aber:
Im Reißverschluss verklemmt sich gerne der Sack der Stangen. Das hat mich schon richtig Nerven (und den ersten Zipper) gekostet. Man muss einfach aufpassen, dann geht es - also dran denken und sich freuen.

Wir haben die Markiese mit Seitenwänden im ersten Urlaub im Dauereinsatz: Starkregen, Gewitter, Sturmböen, 35 Grad und Sonne, Pinienzapfen die auch 20 Meter Höhe drauf gefallen sind, Harzflecken, etc. Wir sind absolut überzeugt von der Qualität und sehr froh über die Anschaffung. Einfache Montage, einfaches Auf- und Abbauen, auch die Seitenwände sind superschnell dran gezippt.
Zwei kleine Details fehlen uns:
1. Die Sichtblenden an den Fenstern der Seitenwände haben an den Ecken leider keine Ösen, damit kann man die Sichtblenden nicht mit Stäben auffstellen sondern nur aufrollen.
2. Die Stützen an den Tragarmen, zur Aufstellung des Markiesenstoffes, klappen auch bei leichtem Wind immer von alleine ein. Wir mussten sie mehrmals täglich wieder aufstellen, damit der Regen gut abfließen kann.
Aber die beiden Punkte sind wirklich nur kleine Haare in der Suppe.
Insgesamt hat das Teil eigentlich 6 Sterne verdient.
Einfache Montage und Aufbau der Markise, top! Passt Perfekt zu meinem Jimny GJ.
Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffenen, Problemlos Montage ( ausreichend Montage Zugehör wurde mitgeliefert ), Funktionalität ist wirklich so einfach wie am Video, und zur Abrundung ist die Verarbeitung der Markise sehr hochwertig.👍
Ich war noch nie im Besitz einer freitragenden Markise und war anfangs skeptisch bezüglich der Stabilität.
Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass sie uns wirklich überzeugt hat, da sie sehr robust gebaut ist, leichten Wind (ohne den zusätzlichen Stützstangen) locker standhält und auch die Handhabung sehr einfach ist. 😊
Preis/Leistung ist auf alle Fälle fair. ✌️
Die Markise sieht wirklich top aus und war gut zu montieren.
Praxistests wird es bald geben.

Markise ist sehr stabil im freitragenden Zustand. Die Schwachstellen welche diese Markisen normalerweise aufweisen hat Horntools sehr gut gelöst. Die Unterbringung der Beine in der Hülle ist klasse!
Die Markise samt Seitenwände sind einfach super
Direkt im März vorbestellt und begeistert. Endlich eine 270 Grad Markise, die leicht und stabil genug ist, dass keine Stangen benötigt werden. Auf unserem VW T5 montiert. Top!!

Ce n’est pas donné, c’est vrai. Mais pour la qualité, la stabilité et tous les petits plus comme les LED intégrées, ça vaut vraiment le prix.
On sent que cette bâche a été conçue par des pros du offroad. Les matériaux sont robustes, et les protections contre l’eau stagnante sont vraiment bien pensées. On a aussi pris les parois latérales – top !
La surface couverte est impressionnante, et pourtant la mise en place est très facile. Même sous la pluie, la structure reste bien stable sans haubans supplémentaires. Pour ce niveau de qualité, le prix est tout à fait justifié.
