The horntools Elements roof tent combines many years of experience in the roof tent sector and offers everything you need for an overlaning & camping adventure. It comes as one of the most advanced rooftop tents with some exciting new features on the market.

We developed the Stone in gray with a black roof for overlanders who like to spend time in the mountains or other rocky areas. The Ocean comes in modern navy blue and a matching brown roof. Developed for adventurers who like to stay near the coast and spend the night in a roof tent with the sound of the sea.
Modern black telescopic ladder
For convenient opening and closing of the roof tent. Can be adjusted in length as required and allows for optimal climbing up and down.

The integrated Sky View roof windows allow a perfect view of the starry sky and can also be completely darkened if desired.
LED lighting in the interior
Ambience in the roof tent: The LED lights are integrated into the interior of the roof tent and can be conveniently operated using a dimmable switch and switched between three different colors.
Including mosquito nets & side pockets
The entrance, the side windows and the two roof windows are equipped with mosquito nets and can alternatively be completely closed. In addition, the interior of the roof tent has 12 side pockets for enough storage space.

On which car does the Elements roof tent fit?
The Elements roof tent fits on any car with a sufficient roof load. This is usually any small car. All you need is a suitable roof rack to which you can attach the roof tent. You can find roof racks at horntools, but the roof tent is also compatible with other roof rack brands.
How heavy is the Elements roof tent?

The weights include ladder and tarpaulin.
What accessories do I need for the roof tent?
All accessories are included with us. You can start right away! We also offer an optional annex room for the Elements roof tent. This creates additional space and gives you a place to retreat to when it's windy or raining.
Is the tent storm-proof and waterproof?
Absolutely! You can use the Elements roof tent even in heavy rain without any worries. Thanks to its stable construction, the tent can also withstand strong winds.
How many people is the Elements roof tent suitable for?
This depends on the size. We offer the Elements roof tent in sizes 140, 165 and 22 0cm wide. The length of the lying surface is always approx. 230 cm.
Two adults can sleep in the 140 roof tent without any problems. 165 cm offers enough space for 2 adults and a child. At 220 cm you have two ladders and a partition. So you have two rooms with separate entrances and enough space for up to 4 people.
Which mattress is in the Elements?
In the Elements, we use a very high-quality mattress with a thickness of 7 cm and a memory foam topper. This gives you a comfortable sleeping experience for both small and larger people. The mattress always stays in the roof tent. We have installed a 3D mesh under the mattress to ensure ventilation and prevent mould growth.
Roof tent mounting on the roof rack
All of our roof tents are simply screwed onto the roof rack cross braces using screws and counter plates. The screws are inserted into the rails provided on the roof tent floor. All fastening material and tools are always included in the delivery.
